1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use SeriesForge, we may handle the following categories of information:
- Account and contact information: such as your name, login details, workspace information, and messages you send to support.
- Content and project information: such as uploaded videos, audio, transcripts, prompts, project settings, generated clips, captions, titles, descriptions, and publishing choices.
- Connected-account information: such as identifiers, profile details, permissions, and tokens needed to connect a social or storage service. We do not need your third-party password to use a connection.
- Billing information: subscription, plan, transaction, and tax details. Payment card information is generally handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by SeriesForge.
- Device and usage information: such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, timestamps, device information, diagnostics, and interactions with the service.
2. How we use information
We may use information to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure SeriesForge;
- process videos and generate clips, captions, metadata, and related outputs;
- connect to third-party accounts and carry out publishing or scheduling actions you request;
- process payments, manage plans, and communicate about your account;
- understand usage, troubleshoot problems, improve quality, and develop features;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, and violations of our terms; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, store, process, secure, analyse, support, or deliver SeriesForge. Those providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us and subject to appropriate contractual or technical controls.
We may also share information when you direct us to do so, such as when you connect a social platform and ask us to publish content; when required by law or legal process; or when needed to protect users, the public, or our rights.
4. Video processing and AI providers
To provide transformation features, your uploaded content and related instructions may be processed by infrastructure and specialised providers that support storage, transcription, media processing, or AI-assisted generation. We use those providers to perform the service you request.
Review your content and connected-service settings before uploading confidential material. We recommend not uploading content you are not authorised to process.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by the type of information and the features you use.
You may request deletion of eligible information through the support channel in the product. Some information may remain where retention is required by law, needed for security, or preserved in appropriately limited backups.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Protect your account credentials and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. International processing
SeriesForge and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers. The protections available to you may depend on the laws of your location.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. You may also be able to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To make a request, use the support channel inside SeriesForge. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and you may have the right to appeal a decision where local law provides it.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
SeriesForge may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, understand traffic, and improve the experience. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies, though some features may not work correctly afterward.
10. Children’s privacy
SeriesForge is not intended for children who are not legally able to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information to us, use the product support channel so we can investigate.
11. Third-party links and services
The site may link to or work with third-party platforms. Their collection and use of information is controlled by their own policies, not this one. Check those policies before connecting an account or publishing content.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practicable.
